ChatVeil values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use the ChatVeil mobile application.
We may collect account information such as email address, username, display name, age, gender, and country; user-generated content such as profile details, chats, friend connections, and reports; device and usage information such as app activity and crash data; and camera, microphone, or storage access only when required for features you choose to use.
We use information to create and manage accounts, support matchmaking and chat features, improve safety and moderation, send notifications, and maintain app performance.
If enabled in the app, camera and microphone permissions are used only for features you choose to use. ChatVeil does not access them without your action.
ChatVeil does not sell personal information. Data may be shared only with service providers needed to operate the app, when required by law, or to protect users and enforce policies.
We retain data as needed to provide the service and support safety and legal obligations. If you delete your account, we attempt to remove your profile and related account data, subject to technical and legal limitations.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
ChatVeil is intended only for users aged 18 and older.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
